Feel free to come in a few minutes early to allow time to fill out the questionnaire.

Location: Acupuncture Family Care’s office is conveniently located off of Rt. 128, close to the ocean on Boston’s beautiful North Shore and supports the communities of Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester, Beverly, Beverly Farms, Essex, Ipswich, Danvers, and others in the vicinity. The building is handicap accessible and has ample free parking. We are located at the Para Research building at 85 Eastern Avenue in Gloucester, in Suite 209, on the 2nd floor. You can enter the building from the rear ramp entry way. If you take the elevator from the ground floor to the second floor, turn left out of the elevator. Suite 209 is the first office on the left. Come in and take a seat in the reception area and someone will be with you shortly.

What to wear: It is best to wear loose fitting clothes that can easily be pulled above the elbows and above the knees in order to access the acupuncture points, and ideally are not tight around the neck. If you are seeking treatment for a specific problem, it is helpful to wear clothes that allows the affected area to be treated, ie. with a shoulder issue a tank top. Unlike massage, it is not necessary to disrobe.

Payment: Payment is expected at the time of treatment and can be made in cash or check (no credit cards). Receipts are provided, upon request, for flex plan accounts or potential insurance reimbursements. Check with your insurance company if your policy covers acupuncture and details of what is needed for reimbursement.

Cancellations: Please give 24 hour notice (Friday for Monday appointments) if you need to cancel your appointment, to avoid a late cancellation fee of $45.

We look forward to learning how acupuncture can support your health!
